Keeping children safe
Updated 1 August 2026Every adult who works with our students is checked, trained and supervised. This is the summary of how we protect children in the studio and online.
Who works with your child
All instructors and volunteers provide references and a police report before their first class, and complete safeguarding training each year. No adult works alone with a child.
Online classes
Live classes are group sessions with at least two staff present. There is no one-to-one video between staff and students, and all messaging happens inside the learning app where it can be reviewed.
Photographs and showcase
We ask for written permission before photographing a child or publishing their project. You can refuse or withdraw permission at any time without affecting their place.
Drop-off and collection
Children aged 7 to 10 are signed in and out by a named adult. Older students may leave alone with written consent from a parent or guardian.
Raising a concern
Tell any member of staff, or write to the safeguarding lead at hello@enseignee.com. We record every concern, respond within two working days, and refer to the Department of Social Welfare where a child may be at risk.
